Top news of my day....

I have the most wonderful news, after so many worried filled days. I have found a vet that will see Gizmo. He said he's not the least bit of a cavy specialist, but that he will see Gizmo. He told me to bring my Guinea Lynx binder that is full of information on cavys on varied subjects. He said that he will try his best to help Gizmo get better. He said that I'm the most persistent woman he has ever talked to on the phone. ^_^ Gizmo has a date with the vet at 9:00 A.M. in the morning at the Greenwood Animal Hospital, Ms in the ER. I am still scared that it might be too late for it has been days and he hasn't gotten any better. He's a little worse than he was yesterday. The vet told me to be prepared if it is too late. I have told myself that I am prepared...but my heart knows different. I know some of you think Gizmo is just a rodent. I've had him since he was a toddler, he is my son! Gizmo is very sweet and loving. He always comes to me and his daddy. He curls up on us to sleep. He stretches and falls asleep when me or Matt brush his hair (he loves it). He sings to us. If we put him down on the floor, he follows me and Matt around watching what we are doing and where we are going. If we have to leave for the day or night, when we come back we hear what he thought about us leaving him...oh yeah we get a ear full. lol. He loves to play with his ball and his other toys me and Matt has made for him. He is scared of thunderstorms..he hides until it's over. He is fully aware that me and Matt are his mommy and daddy. And he is also aware that we love him very much. Please wish Gizmo luck and keep him in your thoughts. I will update you on how it went tomorrow night.
